Ethiopian music dates back centuries and has so many different sounds, and it is impossible for us to truly cover or recognise every musician in Ethiopia, and we do not make an pretensions about this however we want to take the first step towards providing a global platform for the sounds of Ethiopian music to reach out and be heard the world over.

 

We recognise the potential for Ethiopian music to carve a nice market and this is however vastly untapped, and we intend to inject a new kind of professionalism into the music business in Ethiopia, to further promote and recognise not just main stream Ethiopian artists, but to give new and upcoming talents a platform to be recognised and appreciated, this is one of the main reasons that we planned the Ethiopian music Awards show, with a goal of uniting appreciating and promoting Ethiopian singers
