The Millennium Foundation in addition to our partner The Miss Universe Ethiopia’s Make a Wish Foundation
and Ethiopia Reads Organisation are also launching a Special Millennium Book Appeal to benefit and establish over 400 rural libraries in Ethiopian villages ove the next 2 years, many
of whom do not have schools or those the do, are somtimes located as far as 5 -8 kilometres away from the
villages.
The appeal is looking to collect 1 Million donated Childrens story books, Comics, magazines Childerens film's. DVD's
and other educational materials for the rural libraries we would like to set up, and
we would be very grateful if this messages could be disseminated to all school
students, to appeal to them to donate
their surplus English language story books, comics and other educational materials old computers, DVD's / DVD players etc to this worthy cause in
Ethiopia.
